About Sonrise Construction

In The Beginning…

Sonrise construction had its beginnings in 1972.  Willie Miller, born and raised Amish, grew up working with his father, Andy J Miller, of Hartville, Ohio: a true craftsman in his own rite.  Willie moved out of his home area a few years after being married and settled near Cambridge, Ohio. He began working for local contractors building homes. 

It wasn’t long before a neighbor saw the talent and commitment to excellence that Willie had and asked if he wouldn’t consider building his complete home. The rest is history.  For over 40 years, Willie Miller Construction, now known as Sonrise Construction LLC, has been building custom homes and doing extensive remodels in the area.  

A Family of Builders

Sonrise Construction is truly a family business. Today, 4 of Willie’s sons work for the company, doing everything from management and design to the building itself. Willie’s commitment to high quality work and building relationships with clients based on honesty, integrity, and trust has become a fundamental part of the culture at Sonrise Construction, and has helped to distinguish it as one of the finest home building and remodeling companies in Southeastern Ohio.
